He has a wealth of experience acquired over more than two decades in both domestic and international financial markets. Aside from running the Fat Prophets group. Angus has broad investment responsibilities within the Funds Management division, which manages close to $100 million.

Angus's investment track record began in 1982 at the young age of 13. In 1986 he received a "highly commended" award from the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce for increasing an initial investment of $200 to $35,000 on the world stock markets.

During his career, Angus has worked as a money market dealer in New Zealand, a financial consultant in the United Kingdom and the United States. Moving to Australia in 1996, Angus worked for five years as a stockbroker at Bankers Trust and JB Were before co-founding Fat Prophets in June 2000.

Majoring in Economics, Angus completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Otago University, New Zealand in1990. He is also a member of the Securities Institute of Australia having qualified for a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment in 1999.

Angus is also a non executive director of Pie-face Holdings, one of Australia's fastest growing food franchises and Fitch Metals Engineering, a rapidly expanding industrial engineering and manufacturing company. Angus is also a director of the Australasian Investment Review, a fast growing online magazine with more than 35,000 subscribers.

Greg is the Managing Director of Fat Prophets United Kingdom, with responsibilities that include leading the research team. He has been with Fat Prophets for over 10 years.

Greg qualified as a chartered accountant, and came to Fat Prophets with a broad experience of financial markets, having consulted with a number of companies in the banking and finance sector in the UK over a seven year period. Furthermore he has been an active private investor in the stock market for twenty-five  years, where he first began to apply fundamental analysis.

During his career, Greg was employed as an auditor by KPMG in New Zealand, and before joining Fat Prophets, he worked at Mellon Global Investments in London. Whilst at Mellon Greg managed and implemented a number of strategic initiatives within the investment management business.

Greg graduated with an Honours degree in Accounting and Finance from The University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand in 1991, and was one of the University's leading scholars. Greg is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.

Chris has been a stockbroker for over 15 years, firstly at JB Were and then as an equity partner at Bell Potter Securities. Chris has now joined the Fat Prophets team and has established the Wealth Management division.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Economics majoring in Finance, from the University of NSW.

Chris is a regular media commentator and presenter on CNBC and hosts “Your Money, Your Call” on Sky News Business on a weekly basis.

Greg recently joined Fat Prophets as a senior industrial analyst. His most recent role was with Shaw Stockbroking where he spent the last 5 years writing insightful and interesting analysis on media, telecommunications, retail and gaming stocks.

Greg’s background is in funds management with senior roles at BT Funds Management and AMP in New Zealand, and with Hill Samuel in London. He began his career 25 years ago with Norwich Union in Wellington, New Zealand after graduating from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and statistics.

As a fund manager, Greg’s career began amidst the chaos of the 1987 market crash. Lessons from that period have stood him in good stead to identify and evaluate the better companies, which he will apply to the Fat Prophets portfolio. In addition, he gained a wider exposure to virtually every industrial sector that has formed the basis of his knowledge today.

Based in London, Aamer is a Senior Research Analyst on both the UK & US Equities teams.

A Politics & Economics graduate from the University of Reading, Aamer has been with Fat Prophets since 2007 and specialises in the metals and oil & gas areas. He has been active in the financial markets for over a decade and is a firm proponent of the value based approach to investing having been a long term student of the works on Benjamin Graham and Warren Buffet. He also possesses extensive commercial experience having held senior positions in various UK corporations across a broad range of industries.

Aamer is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment in the UK.

Andrew heads up the small cap equities research division at Fat Prophets in the UK. His day-to-day role involves analysing company results and prospects within a top-down framework determined by all members of the investment team. He approaches bottom up small-cap analysis from a value based perspective.

He has extensive experience having worked for five years with an investment fund with a mandate was to outperform the UK All Share Index. He covered stocks held in the fund, whilst also actively seeking out new investment opportunities. Previous roles include a researcher in Parliament and internships at the Investors Chronicle and E*Trade in the UK. Andrew has followed and been investing in the stock market for 15 years.

Andrew is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute. He also holds a Investment Management Certificate and MSc in Accountancy and Finance, and Economic History from the London School of Economics.

David Thang joined Fat Prophets in 2009, taking on the role of Senior Technical Analyst in Australia. David’s diverse experience saw him initially work with Institutional Equities and Money Market Proprietary Traders at Goldman Sachs JBWere and Members Equity Bank in Melbourne. He then moved into the Funds Management arena in Sydney. David initially took on an analyst position with BNP Paribas, shortly after landing himself a Senior Analyst position with AMP Capital Investors.

During the last 7 years, he juggled his full time work commitments along with full time CFD trading. David trades almost every asset class from Aussie Equities, Indices, Commodities to Foreign Exchange. David’s style of trading was recognised by his CFD provider, which saw his client status promoted to an ‘Advantage Professional’. Prior to his Fat Prophets media appearances, David had already been featured as a successful trader in several publications, including the BRW Magazine, Australian Financial Review and CMC Markets Trade Review.

David completed his Bachelor of Business in Financial Planning with a Distinction average at RMIT and is currently undertaking his Masters of Applied Finance and Investments at Kaplan. Over the last 9 years, David has taken many other courses on Advanced Technical analysis and complex trading strategies.

Rupert is Head of UK Fund Management with responsibility for all aspects of the day-to-day running of discretionary portfolios. In this role he works closely with the team in Sydney, which includes providing market intelligence from the UK.

His extensive stockbroking and investment banking career has been in Australia and the UK, working in equities, derivatives and other asset classes including private equity. He has previously worked for firms which include Potter Warburg, BZW, Ord Minnett/Robert Fleming, Banque National de Paris and Dow Jones. He possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from over thirty years in the industry, in all market conditions including the 1987 crash as a Sydney Stock Exchange floor trader.

Rupert is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment in the UK, and in his spare time is Honorary Treasurer for the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen & Families Association (SSAFA) Forces Help in London.
